About Jay Zises - Chairman - A Cap Inc.
After completing his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and History at New York University, Jay Zises pursued a professional career in the financial services industry and has since garnered four decades of experience. From 1969 to 1989, he acted as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of Integrated Resources, which offers bundled securities and insurance to retail and organizational clients. At Integrated Resources, Jay Zises concentrated on the firm’s variable annuity and life insurance products, which he helped develop.
At present, Jay Zises leads investment management company A Cap, Inc. in New York. Since accepting the role of Chairman in 1991, he has overseen A Cap, Inc.’s investments in various businesses such as MaMaMedia Inc.; Small World Media; UniRush, LLC; LawCash; and Esquire Bank. Moreover, it was under his supervision that the firm managed Associated Capital LP’s hedge fund. Alongside his role at A Cap, Inc., Jay Zises fulfills the capacity of Initial Investor at Esquire Bank, which he co-founded, and works with the institution’s attorneys. He has served as chairman of a countrywide political action committee as well.
When not busy with work, Jay Zises gives back to his community by lending a hand at the charity and shelter HELP USA (Housing Enterprise for the Less Privileged) and The Episcopal Church of the Heavenly Rest’s soup kitchen. Jay Zises also supports Israel-focused organizations, including the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), the Friends of the Israel Defense Forces, and the Development Corporation for Israel/State of Israel Bonds.
